Health and wellness has been a life long passion of mine!

Growing up, my mom set the tone for healthy living in a way where food choices were a balanced blend and exercising was always a priority. After school, before getting into sports, we were always either walking outside, or popping in a Cindy Crawford: Shape Your Body Workout (1992) tape into the VCR for a 30 minute power workout.

Fast forward into my teenage years, although my mom did her best with setting the tone for how living a healthy lifestyle should be, I faced many struggles of my own. From getting diagnosed with depression, anxiety, an eating disorder, PCOS, IBS, acne, and having constant issues with hormonal imbalances, I knew that I didn’t want to keep feeling the way that I was and that something needed to change.

After graduating high school and enrolling in the 1st year of community college that I did, I dedicated myself and time reversing all of the issues that I once had. It took many years of rehabilitation, but I can confidently say that yes, I am still a work in progress, but I have found a balance that I have been able to maintain without shaming myself and feeling like what I’m doing isn’t enough. Every day I am healing, but every day gets better and better.

Moving forward, after having gone through what I did, I knew that helping people achieve balance in their day to day life, was the path for me. Today, I am a mom to a beautiful girl, a beautiful baby boy, and a wife to a man that has helped me grow and has allowed me to chase after my crazy dreams, as well as a business owner that is on an adventure to help people discover the better sides to themselves.

Between working in a commercial gym, to owning my own gym, I have experience with one-on-one personal training, online personal training, group training of up to 25 client’s in a group session, boot camps, challenges, and have worked with all types of fitness enthusiasts, athletes, and ages 8-60+, as well as implementing Journal Therapy into my own life for nearly 20 years.

I obtain a Women’s Fitness Specialist Certification as well as a Personal Training Certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and am continuing my education in Nutrition, Weight Loss, Behavior Change, and more. I have also received a diploma for Journal Therapy Coaching. I have had hands on and personal experience with marathon training, cross fit training, bodybuilding, power lifting, as well as other styles of exercise that just get your body moving!

My mission, is to teach people how to balance their body and brain through integrative wellness techniques!
